Many of Andrew's pupils find that it is extremely helpful for both horse and rider to benefit from a series of training sessions, back to back, over a 2 or 3 day period. This can be particularly helpful for young horses, busy people who have a few days off work, or just as a fun and educational way to spend a few days of the school holidays!
Andrew now arranges Intensive Training Courses at his base in Carluke, to which up to 2 riders at a time, and their horses can come and undertake a series of lessons over a 2 to 3 day period. tailored to their individual requirements. Dressage instruction can also be provided over the course of the few days, for those interested in this discipline, from a visiting local instructor. The emphasis is on pupils' enjoyment - not just hard work! Courses are arranged for ANY LEVEL- from novice to advanced pupils and horses
Where possible, Andrew will also try and arrange to accompany his pupils to a competition during the 2 or 3 day period, as it can be very beneficial for him to see them and their horses at a show, and they can then benefit from his expertise in preparing for competition, warming up, course walking, and actually competing.
