Andrew teaches regularly, travelling from his home in Carluke, Lanarkshire, where he lives with partner Kathleen McArthur, all over Scotland and Northern England, teaching all levels of showjumping to individuals, groups and clubs, as well as BSJA organised training. Andrew is a firm believer in building good foundations for jumping, by establishing good flatwork for maximum balance, straightness, control and obedience. Lessons often combine flatwork and pole work with jumping in order to ensure that the basics are reinforced before tackling new challenges.
Andrew's friendly, enthusiastic and confidence giving manner coupled with his attention to detail and genuine desire to help his pupils makes him popular with adults and children, showjumpers, event riders, amateurs and professionals alike.
